Saturday March 10th in Tolne Skov, and

Sunday March 11th in Tversted Klitplantage.

On Friday March 9th there will be training courses in Ålbæk Klitplantage

 

Classification:

C-event **** with elite courses.

Saturday: Long distance

Sunday: Medium distance

NB. The two runs are separate events, which can be seen from the application sheet. If you want to participate one of the days only, please state this in the box marked “Bemærkninger”

 

Shower and changing facilities:

Saturday runners will have to resort to the "wet flannel" method. Sunday, we offer shower and changing facilities at BTI's clubhouse at Fælledvej at Tversted, marking the route 597 east of Tversted.

 

There will be no event center.

Terrains

Tolne Skov is of varied density and plantation and several open heather and gras areas. The terrain is hilly.

 

Tversted Klitplantage consists of an area of dunes to the north and a plantation to the south , consisting mainly of coniferous wood with generally easy runabilty. There are some areas with difficult runability. The central part of the plantation is characterized by inland dunes with many contour details.

Classes D-10A, D-10B, D12B, H-10A, H-10B, H-12B, Beg1 and Beg2, have optional start times, which means that start time is arranged with start officials .

 

Children’s courses: Free, waymarked courses from 30 min. before first start and 2½ hours on. Look for tent signed “Børnebane” on assembly area.

Late entries: Not accepted. Instead there will the following open courses::

Punching system:

• Electronic, using EMIT system. Rented e-cards are handed out at start and must be handed in at finish on the last day. Competitors with own e-cards are requested to see to it that their e-card can be easily identified as belonging to them.

Assembly area:

Saturday Tolne Skov. Distance from parking to assembly area approximately 5-800 m. Coaches may be parked at assembly area depending on the weather condtions.Start and finish at assembly area. First start 12 o’clock.

Sunday in Tversted Klitplantage. Distance from parking to assembly area approxiamately 800 m. Coaches on parking lot by the ponds (Tverstedsøerne) 800 to 1000 m from assembly area. Distance from assembly area to start approxiamately 500 m. First start 08.30 am

 

Norwegian and Swedish runners who are arriving by ferry on Saturday are kindly requested to state which ferry they arrive on ( harbour and time) when sending the entry form and they will be assigned late starts on Saturday if need be.
